Mahonia Aquifolium

Mahonia Aquifolium (or Oregon Grape) grows naturally in the Pacific states of NW America. The bark of its roots contains the alkaloids berberine, oxycanthine and berbamine, which are believed to have important therapeutic effects on the skin.

Regular use of products containing Mahonia extract can reduce the appearance of flakiness and scaling.

Skin Therapy Balm - a rich but easily-absorbed ointment. It is based on our successful Skin Smoothing Cream and has the added ingredients of Mahonia Aquifolium, Dead Sea Minerals, Siberian Seabuckthorn and Knotweed. The Balm also contains Aloe Vera, Chamomile and Lithospermum.

Body Lotion - an easily-absorbed lotion for covering more extensive areas. The key ingredients are Mahonia Aquifolium, Seabuckthorn, Burdock Root, Lithospermum and protein-rich Soya Whey.
